Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet and greet with your driver guide and a company representative. Short briefing about your holiday in Tanzania with Kanuth Adventure Safari, then Transfer to Arusha town for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: A Relaxation Day in Arusha

This day you can relax after your long flight and start to enjoy your holiday in Tanzania at Arusha town. We will pick you up from your hotel for a short city tour and shopping around the city in the afternoon.

Day 3: Arusha Town - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we pick you up from your lodgings in Arusha and drive 130 kilometres on a well-tarmacked road to Lake Manyara National Park in time for a morning game drive. After a picnic lunch in the Park, we continue the game drive until the evening. The Park is home to tree-dwelling lions, hippo, elephants, zebra, buffalo, giraffes, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, warthog,s and much more. About 350 birds have been recorded here, with several hornbill species, including the ground hornbill.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

Game viewing is possible on the road to Serengeti National Park. This is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary globally, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti. Here you will probably see great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, some pride of lions, and much more.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park

Depending on the month of the year, expect to encounter the herds of the Great Wildebeest Migration. If a not perfect month of Great Migration, still you will be able to see large herds of resident animals which live in this famous Park of Africa such as lion, elephant, leopard, giraffe, zebra, various primates, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and many birds, at the very least. Your guide will contact other safari drivers and amaze you with his skill at locating hidden animals.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Olduvai Gorge - Ngorongoro Crater

Early sunrise Game drive in Serengeti, then come back to your accommodation for Brunch. Later we depart for Oldupai Gorge, the archaeological site where the Leakey’s discovered remains of Australopithecus Homo habilis and Homo erectus. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. It is then a short hop to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim, where you will stay overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour -Kilimanjaro airport - Zanzibar

After breakfast, we descend to the crater floor for a game drive. The Big Five reside here: rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant. But you should also see zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the soda lake Magadi, geese, stork, vulture, roller, various kingfishers, and black kites.

Your lunch will be served at the picnic site at Ngoitoktok Swamp, a hippo pool. The afternoon game drives continue even whilst ascending back up to the crater rim from where we drive to Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival at Zanzibar airport, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel in Stone Town for a leisure break and overnight. Evening you can visit Forodhani Garden where you can enjoy different spices and Seafood.

Day 8: Zanzibar Stone Town Tour and Prison Island

Breakfast at your hotel, then our guide will pick you up for a half-day city tour. This Tour takes you through narrow streets of the Old stone town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace), Dr Livingstone’s House, and the Arab Fort, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar.

You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals, and mosques; after lunch, take a private boat to Prison Island. You will also have the opportunity to see big tortoises, some of which are over 100rys old, as well as different species of birds. Evening drive to the South Coast of Zanzibar for your relaxation at the beach.

Days 9 - 10: Zanzibar Relaxation Days

Now you can rest and relax around your hotel on the beach. Swimming, and snorkelling are also possible.

Day 11: Zanzibar Dolphins Tour

You are up for an early start to head out towards Kizimkazi, formerly the capital of Zanzibar. Kizimkazi boasts of the oldest mosque in East Africa, a 12th-century structure that still stands. This quaint fishing village is on a bay known as the thousand dolphin bay. Thus ou main target for the day- swimming with the dolphins. We board our motorized boat and head out for dolphin viewing, and with good luck, we will swim with them too.

You will spend about 2 hours here before you are taken back to the shore for snorkelling -or go for a walk on the beautiful beach. Around noon, you are back in your hotel for lunch and relaxation.

Day 12: Zanzibar Safari Blue

Depart at 08:00 a.m; from your hotel for yet another wonderful experience. Boating off Zanzibar’s coast aboard a local dhow. From the beautiful beach of Fumba on the southwest coast of Zanzibar, you can admire the picturesque scenery. The crystal clear waters and beautiful snorkelling will be a highlight of this trip in a mangrove pool. Snorkelling here is amazing. This area is part of the Menai Conservation and is largely unspoiled. You will be taken on to a virgin sandbank, after which you go on to Kwale Island to enjoy a seafood buffet, seated almost in the sea!

Rock lobster, prawns, calamari, octopus, two types of fish, a coconut sauce with rice, and chapati. Dessert consists of various types of exotic fruits and Zanzibar coffee. It is now time to relax and reflect on this tiny paradise that belongs to you for just one day- what a happy ending!

Day 13: Zanzibar - Dar es Salaam- back Home

On this day, it will depend on your flight time in Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. You will be transferred from the hotel to the harbour and then picked up at Dar es Salaam Harbor by our mainland staff. We take you to Nyerere Airport for your flight back home.
