Tanzania’s Western Circuit is for the wilderness and adventure seeker, or maybe those that love chimpanzees!

Gombe Stream National park is one of the few remaining places in Africa where you can see Chimpanzees in the wild. With just 52 sq Km (20 sq miles) Gombe is Tanzania’s smallest National Park, it lies 16 Km from Kigoma on the shore of Lake Tanganyika. Beachcomber olive baboons, red-tailed and red colobus monkeys are just some of the other primates to be seen here and about 200 species of birds.
