Early breakfast, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar, which leaves at 9:00. On arrival in Zanzibar at 9:20, your guide will pick you up and start a guided Stone Town tour. Hot lunch at one of the restaurants, then transfer to Nungwi with a stop at the Spice Tour. Here you will be able to see spices like Cloves, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Nutmeg, and turmeric root growing in the plantations. Other tropical fruits such as jackfruit, custard, apple, Rambutan, and Carambola can also be seen and tasted. Furthermore, you will see plants like the Henna bush, Lipstick tree, and Lemongrass. Lunch will be served here in a buffet style, so you can taste different spices when they are cooked. After lunch, leave the farm and proceed with your drive to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and transferred to Mnemba for a full-day dolphin tour and snorkelling adventure, which sounds like an exciting experience. During this 6 – 8 hour tour, you can expect Dolphin watching, snorkelling, swimming, exploring marine life and beach relaxation. In the evening, you will be driving back to your accommodation for an evening of relaxation at the beach or (Optional.) transfer to the Rock Restaurant for dinner. This has to be booked in advance.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Stone Town, where you will take a boat to Prison Island. Once on the island, you’ll explore the remnants of the former prison, which was initially built in the late 19th century as a quarantine station and later used as a prison. The historical site provides insight into Zanzibar’s colonial and slave trade history. A significant highlight of the tour is meeting the famous giant Aldabra tortoises that inhabit the island. Visitors can feed and interact with some gentle creatures over a century old. Late afternoon, you will be taken back to Stone Town for a hot lunch at the restaurant, then transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your evening flight back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival at Dar es Salaam, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel of your choice, where the tour will end.
