Itineraries
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, followed by a transfer to the SGR train station to board the 06:00 AM train. Relax on a comfortable 1-hour 40-minute scenic rail journey, arriving in Morogoro at 07:40 AM. Your driver-guide will be waiting at the station in Morogoro to transfer you in a private 4×4 vehicle straight to Mikumi National Park. Enter the park around 10:30 AM and dive into an exciting game drive across the Mkata Floodplain, an area rich with zebras, giraffes, buffalo herds, elephants, and lions. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site or restaurant inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive. As dusk approaches, exit the park and head to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chizua Waterfall Hike and Return to Dar es Salaam
After a hearty breakfast, make your way to the Uvidunda Mountains for a guided trek to Chizua Waterfalls. Embark on a nature walk through lush green countryside, tropical flora, and local villages until you reach the cascading falls. Take time to relax by the natural pools, soak in the mountain views, and enjoy the refreshing mist before hiking back to the base for lunch. Following lunch, transfer back to Morogoro station to board your afternoon return train departing at 04:25 PM and arriving in Dar es Salaam at 06:15 PM. Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the SGR station and drop you off at your hotel or airport marking the end of your tour.
