3-Day Itinerary From Dar es Salaam

Activities: Day Game Drives, Night Game Drive, Wilderness Walking Safari.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Ruaha National Park

We will pick you up from the agreed-upon point in the morning and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ruaha, which departs at 08:30 am.
On arrival at 09:50 am, Meet and Greet with your driver guide from Kanuth Adventure Safari, who will briefly explain the safari. After you sign in, you can leave the airstrip and start the game drive at this largest park in East Africa.
Ruaha National Park benefits from the dispersal and migration of wildlife from its northern game reserves, Kizigo and Rungwa, giving the park a massive boost in wildlife concentration. Many buffalo, Elephants, Kudus, zebras, Giraffes, Lions, Impalas, and Elands exist. Evening drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Day & Night Game Drive at Ruaha NP

After breakfast, we will take you on a full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park. Look out for the rare Roan and Sable antelope, which can be found in this park in the Usangu Area, as well as hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, reedbuck, dik-dik, and buffalo. All venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of lion, Leopard, hyena, wild dog and jackal. There are many birds in the park, including Eurasian migrants that visit twice a year. Return to your accommodation for an early dinner, then leave again for a night game drive, which is from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Day 3: Wilderness Walking Safari & Flight to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, go on a walking tour in the wilderness with an armed ranger guide to get close to the animals and plants along the river for great photos. The Great Ruaha River is home to large numbers of hippos and crocodiles. It attracts lions, leopards, hunting dogs, and other species, including waterbucks, impala, giraffes, warthogs, eland, zebras, and elephants. Grant’s gazelle, ostrich and cheetah may be seen on the plains. Come back for breakfast, then transfer to the Msembe airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam, which leaves at 10:45. On arrival at Dar es Salaam at 1:15 pm, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel of your choice, where the tour will end.
