Itineraries
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to (Maasai Culture Boma)
Early morning pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and depart to Mikumi National Park, where you will arrive in time for lunch; after lunch and a short break at the bandas, a trip to a Maasai village, where you can learn about the customs and traditions of the Maasai. The Maasai are a colourful tribe from Tanzania with a nomadic, traditional lifestyle.

Day 2: Full day Game Drive & (Night game drive)
The morning after breakfast, with packed lunch and full-day games, drive in the park. Mikumi’s vegetation includes woodland, swamps, and grassland, with two water holes, Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop and malachite kingfisher, you will also find a monitor lizard and perhaps a python inhabiting the pools. After lunch, proceed with afternoon game drives in the park home to Elephant, Lion, Wild Dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Come back for dinner after sunset. Then, after dinner, you will leave for a night game drive from 7:00 to 11:30 pm.

Day 3: Mikumi National Park - Ruaha National Park
Following breakfast this morning, depart for your road transfer to Ruaha National Park. The journey takes you through scenic regional landscapes, bringing you to the park borders by early evening. Transitioning straight from travel to adventure, you will enjoy a welcoming game drive en route to your camp, tracking resident wildlife as the afternoon turns to dusk. Conclude your day at the park bandas, where you will check in, sit down for a delicious dinner, and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive at Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, collect your packed lunch and leave for a full-day game drive. Depending on the time of the year, the driver may drive far southern of the park to Usangu marsh, where you can sport the Roan and Sable antelopes. The game drive around that area is so exciting as you will be able to see many wild animals. In the evening, come back to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Wilderness Walking safari & Game Drive
After breakfast, a morning wilderness walking safari, one of the most exciting experiences in Tanzania, accompanied by armed rangers. Back to the camp for a full breakfast. Then, collect your packed lunch and proceed with a game drive. The Ruaha is the largest park in Tanzania, with a size of 20,226 Square Kilometers. The exciting Great Ruaha River features large numbers of hippos and crocodiles. It attracts lions, leopards, hunting dogs, and other species such as waterbuck, impala, giraffe, warthog, eland, zebra, and elephants. Tou can see Grant’s gazelle, ostrich on the plains.

Day 6: Ruaha National Park – Dar es Salaam
Start your final morning with breakfast and check out of your accommodation to begin the long return transit to Dar es Salaam. The itinerary includes a scheduled lunch stop at a Mikumi restaurant, allowing you to refuel and break up the day’s driving segments. Following lunch, resume the eastward journey down the highway, navigating back toward the coast. You will arrive in Dar es Salaam in the late evening, where your multi-day safari circuit draws to its final conclusion.
