Itineraries
Day 1: Zanzibar to Saadani National Park
Your adventure begins with a 7:00 AM departure from Zanzibar by boat. Enjoy a comfortable 1-hour 30-minute cruise, arriving at Saadani at approximately 8:30 AM. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp before continuing to the Wami River for a boat safari. Exploring the river by boat offers excellent opportunities to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife from a unique perspective. During the excursion, enjoy a packed lunch served on the river, surrounded by hippo pods in their natural habitat. Following the boat safari, continue with a 4×4 game drive in Saadani National Park, exploring areas known for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and predators, depending on seasonal wildlife movements. The game drive continues until the last light of the day before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Walking Safari and Return to Zanzibar
Begin the morning with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. Walking through Saadani offers a different perspective of the park, focusing on animal tracks, smaller wildlife, plants, and the ecosystem. After the walk, return to the camp for breakfast and relax before transferring to the beach landing point for your fast boat back to Zanzibar. Depart Saadani at 9:00 AM and arrive in Zanzibar at approximately 11:00 AM, followed by a transfer to your hotel.
