Itineraries
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Morogoro -Mikumi NP
An early morning pick-up at Dar es Salaam airport or another agreed point and transfer to the train station for your morning SGR train. Enjoy a comfortable train ride from Morogoro to Morogoro, which leaves at 06:00 am. On arrival at Morogoro at 07:40, you will be picked up by your driver’s guide and will drive for 2 hours to the park—Check in at Bandas, where you can get breakfast and proceed with the game drive. Mikumi is home to Elephants, buffaloes, Lions, leopards, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, Impala, Eland Worthog and about 300 species of birds. Until sunset, returning in time for dinner at your lodgings.

Day 2: Mikumi NP - Morogoro -Dar es Salaam
Set for an early morning game drive to catch active wildlife and visit scenic waterholes. After a delicious breakfast, lace up for a short lunch before returning to Morogoro and catch the SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. which leaves at 6:40. On arrival at the Dar es Salaam station, you will meet our staff, who will take you to the airport or hotel for dinner and overnight
The trek goes deeper down into the dry and hot Rift Valley, where you can see the dried-out ashes from up close. You may even have to scramble down into white gullies that were gauged out of the ground from molten lava that has now solidified and scramble back up on the other side.
The vehicle will pick you up and take you to Lake Natron camp, where you can refresh yourself in the Lake Natron River.
