Day 1:
05:30 – 06:00 AM: Hotel Pickup & Scenic Drive
Your Kanuth Adventure Safaris guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Settle into our custom 4×4 Land Cruiser and begin your journey across the Maasai plains toward Makuyuni Wildlife Park, approximately 70 km southwest of Arusha.
08:00 AM: Arrival & Morning Game Drive
Upon arrival at the park, begin your first game drive with the pop-up roof open, offering excellent views and photography opportunities. Explore the open savannahs, seasonal stream beds, and granite outcrops while looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and, with a little luck, the park’s big cats
11:00 AM: Guided Bush Walk & Kipara Hill Trek
Step out of the vehicle for a guided bush walk accompanied by an armed resident ranger. Learn about animal tracks, native plants, and the smaller details of the African wilderness. Continue with a gentle ascent of Kipara Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding landscape.
12:30 PM: Picnic Lunch
Take a peaceful break in the wilderness with a freshly prepared picnic lunch served in a shaded location inside the park. Relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery while watching wildlife move across the distant plains.
02:00 PM: Authentic Maasai Experience
Visit a traditional Maasai boma near the park and spend time with the local community. Discover aspects of Maasai pastoral life, experience traditional dances, and explore locally crafted beadwork and jewelry. This visit offers a meaningful opportunity to learn about the community’s culture and traditions.
03:30 PM: Afternoon Game Drive
Continue exploring the park, focusing on waterholes and riverine areas where wildlife often gathers during the warmer afternoon hours. Keep your camera ready for further wildlife sightings and memorable safari photographs.
05:00 PM: Sundowner

05:30 PM: Return Journey to Arusha or Moshi
