Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be picked up by your professional driver-guide and begin your transfer to Nyerere National Park, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. On arrival at the park, you will begin an extensive game drive that continues until sunset. During this safari, you will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and many more species. The park is also rich in birdlife and offers stunning landscapes with diverse ecosystems such as wetlands, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and elevated areas with distant views of mountains. After the game drive, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Nyerere Green Lodge

After an early breakfast, you will head out for a boat safari along the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park. This unique experience allows you to explore the park from the water, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. After the boat safari, you will return to the lodge for an early lunch and some time to relax before departure. Later, you will begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will connect with your afternoon ferry or flight back to Zanzibar.
