Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Saadani
Depart Dar es Salaam in the morning from your agreed pickup point, traveling through Mandera village en route to Saadani National Park. After checking in and enjoying lunch upon arrival, dive straight into your first afternoon game drive. This initial exploration introduces you to the park’s diverse ecosystems, offering an immediate chance to spot resident wildlife against the unique backdrop of the Indian Ocean.

Day 2: Boat safari & Beach leisure
Breakfast boat excursions to the Wami River, which offers probably the best boat safari in Tanzania; the river safari passes flocks of flamingoes at the mouth of the estuary before entering the river with its abundant wildlife and profusion of bird life. Return to your accommodation for lunch and leisure at the beach in the afternoon

Day 3: Game drive and walking safari
The day will be occupied with a game drive in the morning. Drive back to your accommodation for a hot lunch and relaxation at the beach, as it will be hot in the afternoon.
Evening leaves for a Wildeness walking safari with the unique experience of tracking Wild animals and bird species through the prime bush.

Day 4: Saadani Park to Dar es Salaam
Following breakfast, your final morning features an enriching cultural tour of historic Saadani Village, where you can connect with local residents, learn about the area’s Swahili heritage, and discover its unique history as a former trading port. After this meaningful community visit, you will begin the return journey back to Dar es Salaam. The scenic drive brings you through coastal villages and changing landscapes, arriving back in the capital by late afternoon to mark the conclusion of your extraordinary bush-and-beach safari.
