Head south to Ndutu for two full days exploring the plains and observing the migrating herds and newborn calves. Finish with a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater before returning to Arusha. 6-Day Wildebeest Migration Calving Season Itinerary
Day1: Arusha to Lake Manyara
- Morning: Depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
- Afternoon: Enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and abundant birdlife, including flamingos along the lake shore.
- Evening: Experience the Lake Manyara Treetop Walkway. This 370-meter suspended bridge system takes you up to 18 meters above the forest floor, offering a unique perspective of the canopy and the surrounding landscape.

Day 2:Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti (Seronera)
- Morning: Travel from Lake Manyara towards the central Serengeti.
- Afternoon/Evening: Arrive in the Seronera Valley, the heart of the Serengeti and prime territory for big cats. Conduct an evening game drive focusing on spotting lions, leopards, and cheetahs, which are highly active in this area due to the density of resident prey.

Day 3: Serengeti (Seronera) to Ndutu Area
- Morning: Enjoy a morning game drive in the Seronera area to catch the big cats while they are most active.
- Afternoon: Drive south towards the Ndutu region (on the border of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area). As you transition into the plains, keep an eye out for the approaching herds of wildebeest and zebra, which congregate here for the nutrient-rich grasses during the calving season.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Ndutu
- Focus: Spend the entire day in the Ndutu plains, the epicenter of the calving season. This is where thousands of wildebeest calves are born daily.
- Wildlife Experience: Witness the incredible spectacle of new life, and the inevitable predator-prey dynamics as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the herds by the vulnerable young calves.

Day 5: Another Full Day Game Drive in Ndutu
- Focus: Utilize this additional day to explore deeper into the Ndutu and southern Serengeti plains.
- Wildlife Experience: Take your time observing the behavior of the herds and the interaction between newborns and the landscape. This day allows for a more relaxed pace to capture photography and observe the wildlife at length without the pressure of moving between camps.

Day 6:Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
- Morning: Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive on the crater floor. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers some of the highest wildlife densities in Africa and is an excellent place to complete your “Big Five” checklist.
- Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha to conclude your safari.
Main Destination : Lake Natron or Ol Doinyo Lengai
