Itineraries

Day1: Dar es Salaam to Magoroto

On Day 1, you’ll start your journey by departing from Dar es Salaam and traveling to Magoroto. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your accommodation and, later in the evening, participate in a bike tour around the local village. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with villagers and enjoy the local culture and landscape.

Day 2: Full Day at Magoroto Forest

Day 2 is dedicated to exploring Magoroto Forest. You’ll begin with a guided hike to a beautiful waterfall, where you can enjoy the natural surroundings and take photographs. Midday, you’ll engage in bird watching with a local guide who can identify various species. In the afternoon, you’ll participate in a spice tour to learn about the cultivation and processing of different spices. Later, you can relax by swimming in a natural pool and trying your hand at fishing in a serene pond

Day 3: Magoroto to Saadani via Pangani

On Day 3, you’ll travel from Magoroto to Saadani, passing through the historic town of Pangani. You might want to take a brief stop here to explore the area. Upon arriving in Saadani National Park in the afternoon, you’ll check in at your lodge or campsite. In the evening, you’ll embark on a thrilling game drive to spot wildlife such as elephants and lions.

Day 4:Full Day at Saadani National Park

Day 4 will be a full day at Saadani National Park. Throughout the day, you’ll explore the park and enjoy sightings of wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, and crocodiles. In the evening, you’ll experience a river boat safari on the Wami River, where you can look for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 5: Saadani Back to Dar es Salaam

On the final day, Day 5, you’ll set out for an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife in their morning routines. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for your departure. In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening to conclude your safari adventure.
