Explore Tours

Serengeti needs no explanation. It is perhaps the most exciting safari destination in the world. But the other national parks in northern Tanzania are equally beautiful, each with a very different landscape and a wide diversity of wildlife and nature. You may well see what you do not see in one park elsewhere. And this package has a cherry on top! Zanzibar – is full of eastern promise, culture, and history!

Our 2 Week packages usually show 11 days but can include an additional day at either the beginning (if you arrive late evening) or at the end (in case you leave early morning). The additional day includes the extra cost of the overnight stay close to the airport. We can add one or more days at any point (extra cost) on any of our packages – if you want to see more, do more, or relax more. Tip: an extra day in Arusha would allow you to tour Arusha Town and visit Arusha National Park at the foot of Mount Meru with views of Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, leave with your picnic lunch for a half-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. The Park derived its name from the Tarangire River, which rises in the highlands of Central Tanzania and winds its way through the game sanctuary.
The river beguilingly lures the herds of plains migrants from the desiccated surrounding area to its shrunken – but permanent – brackish waters during the dry season. During the dry season, the Tarangire pools are clotted with thirsty migrants, and the elephants begin to dig for underground streams in the dry riverbed.
Tarangire National Park is said to have the highest recorded number of breeding bird species for any habitat in the world. The afternoon after lunch, drive to Arusha airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar, which leaves at 15:20. On arrival in Zanzibar at 16:35, you will be picked up by our guide and drive to the hotel for a shower.
Then your local guide from Kanuth Adventure Safari will pick you up and take you to Forodhani Garden, where you can test Zanzibar spice food.
