Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Pangani
Pick up from an agreed point in Dar es Salaam and drive with packed lunch to Pangani. The small town of Pangani, which is on the river of the same name, is rich in culture and history. It was a major hub of the slave caravans during the slave trading years. Presently, Pangani is well known for its untouched beaches, which are off the beaten track since very few tourists venture this way. Enjoy the sun and sand.
Day 2: Pangani
Walking tour to the Pangani ancient centre to see some buildings that are more than 200 years old. You can visit former slave labour camps and a slave market site, lunch in town and then return to your beach resort for relaxation.
Day 3:Full day Game drive at Saadani - Bagamoyo
After early breakfast, we depart for a full day game drive at Saadani National Park. On arrival, start the tour with boat excursions to the Wami River, which offers probably the best boat safari in Tanzania; the river safari passes flocks of flamingos at the mouth of the estuary. Packed lunch to be served from the beachside at India Ocean following with game drive around the park until sunset. Leave the park and drive to the historic coastal town of Bagamoyo, the original capital of German East Africa. Bagamoyo was one of the first and most important trading ports along the East African coast. The town is full of historical monuments, an ancient Arab and Portuguese architecture. A wonderful stretch of the beach allows you to chill out and return to the present day.
Day 4: Full day at Bagamoyo
Spend the morning at leisure on the beach. Optionally, you can also visit the Bagamoyo School of Arts for a Ngoma (traditional dance) session.
Day 5: Bagamoyo - Zanzibar
After breakfast, depart to Zanzibar by local dhow, which is navigated by local and experienced fishermen. The journey will take you about 4 hours, depending on the weather condition. It is the experience of a lifetime and fun day as you will also have some brakes in a few Islands before your arrival at Stone town. On arriving at Zanzibar in midday, you will meet with your local guide who transfers you to the hotel for shower and rest. Afternoon at leisure in the Beach. Evening you can experience a Swahili life at Forodhani Garden, where you will be able to test different Zanzibar Spice Seafood.
Day 6: Stone Town and Prison Island
After breakfast, you depart for a 2 – 3 hours tour of the historic stone town. Walking through the narrow alleys, your guide will explain and answer questions. He will take you to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace), Dr. Livingstone’s House, and the Arab Fort. You will also see Zanzibar’s bustling market, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals, and countless mosques! If time allows, you will also visit the site of Sultan Barghash’s harem at Marahubi. Your guide will also show you some excellent gift shops with plenty of souvenirs and handicrafts. In the afternoon, leave your lodgings for a half-day tour of Prison Island. Prison Island is a beautiful island just off Zanzibar Town. Throughout history, this island has served various purposes. Although it was originally built as a prison, it was never used for that purpose. Instead, it was later used as a quarantine for slaves from all over eastern Africa. The remnants of the buildings are still visible. The island offers a stunning view of the town, especially at night. There is a stunning small, sandy beach with marvelous swimming in crystal waters. The coral reefs surrounding the island provide an opportunity for snorkeling. Here is also the home of the giant turtle, which is now under strict conservation. Later take your boat back to your accommodation overnight.
Day 7: Stone Town to Zanzibar East Coast
The morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to East Cost of Zanzibar for leisure at your beach.
Day 8: Relaxactions at Zanzibar East Cost
Rest and relax at the beach in your hotel.
Day 9: Relaxactions at Zanzibar East Cost

Day 10: Zanzibar Safari Blue
Rest and relax at the beach in your hotel.
After breakfast, depart for a full day safari blue. This Tour is one of the best excursions in Zanzibar. This sea adventure safari starts from Fumba fishing village, southwest coast of the island, the major attraction is to swim, snorkeling, seafood, and sailing within the traditional dhow, the conventional dhow history dated back to the 15th and 16th centuries, the ages of the monsoon winds and the Arab movements.
Snorkeling is also the main activity, whereby you will be taken to the coral reef and the areas which are good and have the colorful school of fish. after the lunch at kwale island, there will be a short tour to the ancient baobab tree which is said to have more than 200 years now, on our way back to the Fumba beach we shall again have the opportunity to swim into the natural swimming pool near the kwale island.
Day 11: Relaxactions at Zanzibar East Cost
Rest and relax at the beach in your hotel.
Day 12: Zanzibar Spice tour - Dar es Salaam - Back Home
After breakfast, you will go for a spice tour to the spice plantations near Stone town. You will be provided with a lot of information about these spices, how they are to be used, and what they cure. The local farmer serve lunch. Afternoon transfer to Stone Town for your afternoon boat to Dar es salaam. On arrival at Dar es Salaam, we pick you up and transfer to the airport ready to check-in for your international flight back home.
