Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park.
You will be picked up from the agreed point in Dar es salaam and start to discover the great Southern Tanzania adventure experience by exploring the Mikumi National Park. The lunch stop will be at the restaurant in Morogoro town. Proceed with your drive to the Park where you will expect to arrive around 2 pm and proceed with a sunset game drive. Mikumi is home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park — Ruaha National Park
Leave the lodge for an early morning game drive in the park. Drive back to the lodge for breakfast. Then drive to Iringa Town where you will visit the Isimila Stone Age Museum. After proceeding with your drive to Ruaha National park.
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive at Ruaha National Park
Very early morning leave for a sunrise game drive at this beautiful park then come back to the hotel for a breakfast drive. In the afternoon game viewing in the park, which is known to be one of the more natural unspoiled as well as one of the largest parks in Tanzania.
Day 4: Wilderness Walking safari and Game Drive at Ruaha National Park
After breakfast launch a walking trip in the wilderness accompanied by an armed ranger guide who will guide you on walking to get close to the animals, plants, fingerprints, and animals along the river for fine pictures. Come back to the hotel for hot lunch and relaxation. Evening leaves again for a sunset game drive. The exciting Great Ruaha River features large numbers of hippos and crocodiles and attracts lions, leopards, hunting dogs and other species such as waterbuck, impala, giraffe, warthog, eland, zebra and elephants. Grant’s gazelle, ostrich and cheetah may be seen on the plains.
Day 5: Ruaha National Park - Udzungwa National Park.
After breakfast drive to Udzungwa National Park. Arrive there late afternoon. Check in at your accommodation and if time allows you can visit prince Bernard waterfall and the village market.
Day 6: Udzungwa National Park – Morogoro Town
Breakfast leave with your lunch box for a full day trekking at Udzungwa Mountain. The route will take you through Price Bernard and Sanje waterfall. Walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experiencing the stunning natural beauty of the park. Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed to explore the area wonderful Sanje waterfall endemic Red Colobus Monkey and beautiful scenery Lunch to be served at the Sanje Viewpoint after that you will descend and meet the car and transfer.
Day 7:Morogoro Town to Saadani National Park.
After breakfast drive to Saadani National Park. This day will be occupied with a game drive in the morning and afternoon foot-walking safari with the unique experience of tracking giraffe through the prime bush before emerging onto a pristine beach.
Day 8: Full Day Saadani National Park.
Breakfast then leave for a boat excursion to the Wami River, which offers probably the best boat safari in Tanzania; the river safari passes flocks of flamingos at the mouth of the estuary before entering the river with its abundant wildlife and profusion of bird life. Return to the Bandas in the afternoon for lunch. After lunch leisure and sunbath on the Indian Ocean beach.
Day9: Saadani National Park –Bagamoyo - Dar es Salaam
After breakfast transfer to Saadani Village for a short culture tour. After the tour starts to drive to Bagamoyo for the historical tour. This is the oldest coastal city-state with massive Tanzania history attributes. The tour will be leading you through the famous slave Market place, Kaole Ruins, Old Port and the first East African Church. After a half-day tour proceeds with your drive to Dar es Salaam, where the tour will end up at the agreed point.
