Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kanombe International Airport, you will be transferred to your Hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Step Town Motel.Meal Plan ( Dinner)
Day 2: Kigali city tour and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will set out for the Kigali City tour. Visit the Genocide Memorial sites and the local village markets for a true Rwandan Cultural experience. Also visit the National cultural Museum in Butare and the Old King’s palace in Nyanza. Proceed with your journey to Nyungwe where you will reach in the evening. Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest
Set out before day light for a chimpanzee tracking experience in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Before the activity, activity, you will first get the briefing from the Park rangers who will in details explain to you the rules for Chimpanzee trekking. When it comes to day light, you will already be in the forest. Also look out for the colobus monkeys, Varvet monkeys and so many other primates. Return to your lodge for lunch and refreshments and then later in the afternoon, go for the canopy walk to search for different bird species. Day 4: Transfer to Gisenyi
After breakfast, you will transfer to Gisenyi near Goma. Drive around Gisenyi town and this will offer you with beautiful views of the colonial houses and heavily flowered gardens. Day 5: Transfer to Ruhengeri
After breakfast, you will transfer to Ruhengeri. Spend the evening resting or alternatively you can go for a short Ruhengeri cultural tour. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.Meal Plan (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6: Gorillatracking
After a fully served breakfast, you will report to the ORTPN offices for registration and briefing on the Gorilla tracking rules. After this, you will be allocated your Gorilla group and you will penetrate deep in the forest to search for these rare Mountain Gorillas. This experience is memorable and cannot be forgotten easily. You can take as many pictures as you want and then after this, return back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Day 7: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route to the park, you will have a game drive in the Ishasha sector where you will be able to see the rare tree climbing lions and also a lot of bird species. Day 9: Transfer to Fort portal
After breakfast you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park with a game drive enroute to Fort portal town. Upon arrival, you will go for the tour and visit the crater regions. Day 10: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast you will leave Fort portal town and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park for a lifetime experience. This is a long day’s drive and you will pass through the homesteads of Hoima which will offer you with insights of the true Ugandan culture. Day 11: Game drive and Launch cruise
Early morning after breakfast, you will start your day by crossing the ferry to the Northern side of the Albert Nile (Only if you did not cross to the other part of the Albert Nile for overnight stay) and go for the morning game drive to search for the early risers. Look out for lions, elephants, Buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, foxes, giraffes, and many others. Return back to the Hotel for Lunch and after go for the afternoon launch cruise along the Albert Nile to the Bottom of the falls. Day 12: transfer to Jinja
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kampala with a brief stopover at the top of the falls for a spectacular view of the waters as it flows down the stream through a 7 meter gorge and making a thunderous roar. Proceed to Kampala for lunch after which you will transfer to Jinja for a visit to the source of the Nile and Bujagali falls. Day 13: White water rafting
Full served breakfast in the morning before setting out for your white water rafting activity on the River Nile. Spend the morning (Half day) white water rafting and in the afternoon, you can go for bungee jumping, kayaking, quad biking and horse riding on the banks of the Nile River. Day 14: Entebbe, Uganda – Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
You will be picked up from the hotel by 7:00am in the morning for a Kampala city tour where you will visit the King’s Palace, the Kasubi tombs. After your tour, you will be transferred to Entebbe airport to check in for your flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. You will be greeted upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport before transferring to Arusha for relaxation and overnight at Pamoja Expedition.Meal Plan (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 15: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Pick up from Arusha city and depart for Lake Manyara National Park via Mto-wa mbu Village with picnic lunch for full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, which packs a lot of diversity into a small area, is the only park in the area that is green all year round. The park also offers a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley and the fig forest here is a good place to see monkeys and some of the 350 species of birds that have been recorded here. Day 16: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti Plains
After breakfast you head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Day 17: Serengeti Full Day Game drive
You have a full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; you can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. Your journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, you will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and it you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of interesting bird life, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich. Day 18: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater
Distance: 145 km after breakfast at the lodge do you depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the ’Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Day 19: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Early afternoon drive to a Kimba Masai Village in Ngorongoro crater rim. Visitors meet the village elders, get an insight into the Masai way of life, visit the bomas, learn about their prized cattle and visit the local school. Day 20:Crater – Lake Eyasi
Early in the morning after breakfast, cross Great Rift Valley and keep on pushing to the slopes of Ngorongoro highlands and onto Lake Eyasi, home to last remnant of bushman in Tanzania. You will spent most of the day here with local guide visiting a number of simple make shift homestead. Spend few hours on Lake Eyasi while enjoying well packed picnic lunch. Days 21: Hadzabe – Tarangire
In the morning before dawn you will be awaken by your local guide ready for hunting safari. You will be searching for an animal for hunting using local weapons. (Remember this isn’t inside the national parks it is outside the parks). In the morning you will be back for breakfast and preparation of barbeque. You will share the meal with the Hadzabe who inhabit the region. Hadzabe are among the fewer tribes in the world which really practice the bush life as well as primitive communalism way of life. You will have more time to interact with them and learn their daily activities. You will walk along the Lake Eyasi which consists of numerous numbers of birdlife. Day 22: Tarangire National Park – JRO
Early breakfast, then proceed for a full day game drive, you will be able to witness hug herds of elephants for Tarangire National park is famous for the huge elephants or known as home of elephants, on this day you will have picnic lunch with us and you normally have our lunch at the view point of Tarangire. After lunch proceed for the whole afternoon game drive as you head out and proceed to JRO arriving late afternoon with a drop off to the Airport ready to catch your flight back home.
