Standard packages like our “Safari Tanzania” or our “Trekking Safari Tanzania” product can be used to help you customise your own tour. Or, with your own research and some discussion with Kanuth, you can totally customise your trekking safari holiday. And, of course, you can combine an adventurous trekking expedition with any wildlife or cultural experience that Tanzania has to offer.
Tanzania has much to offer for the adventurer or sporty person. We can help you get to the remoter areas where the adventure begins. One good example here is our “Tarangire – Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater – Crater Highland Trek (NC13)” which you can tailor and add to your itinerary. On that standard package we visit three major National Parks for wildlife game drives (including Ngorongoro Crater). We then drive down to the small Maasai village of Nainokanoka where the 6 day trek begins! Certain parts of this trek are unreachable for a vehicle but at all times you will be accompanied by one or more guides and a cook. Your vehicle will take another route to pick you up after the trek. Outside the Ngorongoro crater reservation area, where vehicles are not practical, a team of donkeys will carry your luggage and all provisions. Trekking along the Rift Valley to Lake Natron, climbing some beautiful volcanoes, is a strenuous, invigorating experience.
But our customised “Trekking Safari Tanzania” can be much more than the standard packages, as tough or as light as you wish. Mount Kilimanjaro routes and the lesser known Mount Meru (4,562 meters) are also a great challenges. In the south the Uluguru and the Udzungwa mountains and countless other areas provide you with both challenge and adventure. All at your own pace, dependent on fitness levels.
Trekking Safari Tanzania…
is thus your opportunity to design your own itinerary to either test your own physical endurance as you wish. Or it gives you the chance of an energetic challenge that fits your own physical abilities.
Finally, you can model your trek on any of our trekking packages found at the links below…
